America Reads is a grassroots national campaign challenging every American to help all our children learn to read.

Volunteer Placements. America Reads volunteers are placed in the community, including clinics, libraries, child care and community centers, schools and social service agencies.

Service Learning Course. A new America Reads Service Learning course (300:416
SERV LEARNING - AMERICA READS) is offered to Rutgers-Camden students. For their field work, students are placed at the Russell Knight School, William Powell school, Camden Day Nursery, Broadway Family Center, and the Martin Luther King Center.
