Lisa
Rowe Fraustino is an Assistant Professor of
English at Eastern Connecticut State University
and a Visiting Associate Professor in the Hollins
University Graduate Program in Children’s Literature.
Her books have received numerous honors, among them the American
Library Associations Notable Book designation for The Hickory Chair and
an ALA Best Book for Young Adults designation for Ash: A Novel.
She has edited three short story anthologies for young adults,
including Dirty
Laundry: Stories about Family Secrets, Soul
Searching: Thirteen Stories of Faith and Belief, and Don’t
Cramp My Style: Stories about That Time of the
Month. Her most recent book, I Walk in
Dread: The Diary of Deliverance Trembley, Witness to the
Salem Witch Trials, was on the final list
of Scholastics popular Dear America series.
