Beth Adelson, Associate Professor of Psychology (B.S., Goddard; M.A., Ph.D., Harvard). Dr. Adelson's research focuses on gender, learning and cognitive processes, with a particular emphasis on applying cognitive processes to educational technology. Professor Adelson's work has appeared in several dozen U.S. and international publications. She also has served as a Program Director at NSF's CISE, and has held faculty positions at Yale, MIT, and CMU. She is a reviewer for the MacArthur Foundation, a member of the Franklin Institute's Committee on Science and the Arts and an associate editor of Research in Engineering Design.
