Professor Freedman, a graduate of Radcliffe College and the Yale Law School, is co-author of the casebook Sex Discrimination and the Law: History, Practice, and Theory (with others) as well as co-author of two other books on sex discrimination law. She was co-founder of a major feminist law firm, the Women's Law Project of Philadelphia. Professor Freedman teaches Constitutional Law, Family Law, and courses in women's rights and domestic violence
