Research
The Rutgers University Center for Children and Childhood Studies was founded in 2000 to promote understanding, enrichment and the recognition of the significance of the experiences of childhood through research, education, and service and outreach projects. In congruence with this mission, the center provides support of interdisciplinary inquiry into the lives of children in the city of Camden, US and abroad.

Since its inception the Center has sponsored and supported research projects on a range of topics, including
