(VAWC) and the Institute for
Research on Women (IRW), this faculty
forum will bring together faculty from diverse campuses, schools, disciplines,
and departments to discuss research interests related to violence against
women and children. The primary goal of the forum is to provide an
informal environment that facilitates collaboration and a flow of ideas
among Rutgers faculty.
We encourage faculty across the university to come,
share work, meet colleagues, and hear about research activities focusing
on violence against women and children. Topics in this area may include,
but are not limited to: intimate partner violence, sexual assault, dating
violence, stalking, trafficking, child maltreatment, or sexual abuse.
We are interested in research in the social and biological sciences,
arts and humanities. If you work in any of these areas or are simply
interested in pursuing a new line of study, please join us.

Faculty who wish to present a 5 minute description of their work in to-be-arranged
panels, and/or to participate in conversation about research trends and
developments are asked to send:

Johnson Crockett Building on the Douglass Campus (162 Ryders Lane); continental
breakfast and lunch will be provided. If you cannot attend the faculty forum
